Expats Favorite Pubs to Hang Out

Pubs offer different services. Some are karaoke joints, some provide live bands, and some are the wholesome kind serving food and alcohol.

What tickles Joe’s fancy doesn’t mean it will work for you. For one thing, Joe likes pubs with live bands. In contrast, you prefer a quiet setting talking with someone while drinking and eating pulutan, finger foods.

RJ Bistro

RJ Bistro is the home of “Baby Boomers.” Travel down memory lane with the rock and roll music of  Elvis

Presley, The Beatles, and other musical icons of the 60s. For food, a choice of a buffet or order from the table. Drinks are bountiful beers, cocktails, and more alcoholic drinks.

The place is cozy and simple. But everything changes when the main man Ramon Jacinto (RJ) performs at 10:30 pm with a live band.  The music and light make everything buzzing. Fret not if you have two left feet, there are dancers in front of  RJ’s band which you could follow. Enjoy the night, gyrate to the music or just listen.

You might see yourself on the boob tube they set-up cameras to go live.

 

12 Monkeys Music Hall and Pub

Borough is a pub and resto that never sleeps they operate 24/7 with no holidays. Scoot over if you crave for American comfort food. A nice bar awaits you for a few drinks to relax after a tiring day. The place is dimly lit for a cozy ambiance, in contrast to the busy atmosphere of the business district where it is set.
