If there’s one thing Filipinos would like to see the government strictly implement in the Philippines, it is the designation of proper bus stops around the country. If other major cities in Southeast Asia can do it, why can’t the Philippines, right? That would be a dream come true.
Imagine the joy of many people when Bonifacio Global City in Taguig created their own public transport system to help commuters get from one place to another with ease. This continuously helps both drivers and riders commute systematically, and with discipline, no less.
If you’re new in BGC, it helps to know your way in and around the area by bus. It’s good to be prepared, because it’s not every day that you’d be able to bring your own car or hail a Grab car immediately. It takes a bit of practice to memorize every bus stop, but you’ll soon get the hang of it. Take note of this guide, and fingers crossed you don’t miss your stop.
Getting to the BGC Bus Terminal
First things first. Know how to get to the BGC Bus Terminal before anything else. It is located at the McKinley Exchange Corporate Center on the corner of EDSA and McKinley Road in Makati City. It’s the same building as Telus and is right across Shell gasoline station so it’s not hard to miss.
You may buy your ticket at the station or load credit on your Beep Card, a reloadable card used for rapid transit around Metro Manila (MRT/LRT, P2P bus service). Fare for each trip costs P12.00.
